A wide mouth case bottle with a shoulder seal is a rarity - and I am privileged to be able to display this example on the web site. This bottle was not used to contain gin, more likely to store preserves such as fruit and vegetables, or other household and pharmaceutical goods.  The motif in the seal has not been identified.
