The Olive Tree is the well recognised brand of John L. Linnenbrink - who operated a gin distillery in Schiedam from 1863 until 1878. The superb embossing of the olive tree is featured on the side panel of his bottles, which were exported worldwide to countries such as Indonesia, Australia and South America. Bottles with the English lettered version of "THE OLIVE TREE" are readily obtainable, however the Dutch and Spanish lettered versions are very rare.
